Born and raised in Livingstone, Zambia, Mr. Katz began his musical journey in 2018 while still in school. His love for music started from a curiosity about why no one in his community was pursuing it seriously. Inspired by artists like PJ, Slapdee, and Macky 2, he realized that music could be more than entertainment — it could be a tool to educate and inspire others.

Mr. Katz also draws musical inspiration from Rich Bizzy, Mark 2, and Shenky Sugar, whose unique styles have helped shape his sound. Though he works independently, his growing reputation has earned him invitations to perform at Teacher’s Day events and other community gatherings.

His songs often focus on love, life, and motivation, encouraging young people to make positive choices and stay away from self-destructive behavior. Despite facing challenges such as living far from town and not having access to proper musical instruments, Mr. Katz continues to push forward with passion and persistence.

With his latest release, “Mr. Katz ft Mr. Me – Always,” gaining positive feedback, he believes that with continued effort, the next two years will bring even greater success and recognition to his career.
